A unique part of the HU ministry major is PRIME—a time when upperclassmen are immersed into field ministry for seven months. Hillary House’s PRIME experience took her to Atlanta’s Perimeter Church, a congregation of 7,000, where she worked with their 250+ junior-high youth group from May to December. In addition to building relationships, she taught a series, planned a conference, organized Friday night outreach and helped create a discipleship program. “This experience put to work everything I’d learned at Huntington and resulted in incredible personal growth. It also helped me dream big about what I want for my youth group in the future.”
