Jim Bischoff
Head Men's and Women's Bowling Coach
Entering his first year as HU's bowling coach, Coach Jim Bischoff is no stranger to Huntington County. He started the Huntington North High School bowling program in 1999 and quickly developed it into one of the premier programs in the state. In his 12 years as the boys’ varsity head coach, the Vikings made six state appearances and captured two state titles with the most recent championship coming this past spring. He led the team to ten conference championships and has compiled a career conference record of 59-7.
Coach Bischoff is a USBC Certified Silver Level Coach and Registered Volunteer. He has also served as the Hoosier Conference Coordinator since 1999 and is a member of the Indiana High School Advisory Board. His involvement in bowling over the past 30 years has given him numerous connections within the sport which will provide him with viable sources for recruiting student-athletes to HU.
Bischoff graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1989. Currently he is the Digital Print Production Manager at the HF Group in North Manchester, Indiana. He and his wife, Stacey, reside in Huntington, Indiana.
