Chris Tillett

Head Women's Soccer Coach

Entering his first year at the helm of HU’s women’s soccer program, Tillett brings a history of well-documented success to the position.

With over a decade of head coaching experience, Coach Tillett has amassed an impressive 125-54-8 career record at the high school level. In addition to earning three coach of the year honors, Tillett and his teams’ have won four sectional titles and a conference championship.

Prior to coming to HU, Tillett’s most recent coaching stint was at New Castle Chrysler High School where he guided the Trojans to a 17-3 record last fall. His squad gave up only ten goals on the season while finding back netting 118 times to finish second in the state for goals scored. During his six seasons at New Castle, Tillett posted 88 wins against 26 losses and two ties for a winning percentage of 76.7%.

Prior to coaching at New Castle, Tillett turned around the girls’ program at Greenfield Central High School. After winning only four games his first season, Tillett guided the Cougars to a winning record the following year for the first time in school history on his way to a 33-18-4 record over his final four seasons.

When not coaching, Tillett enjoys spending time with his wife Amy and kids Raven (16), Hannah (13), Austin (10), Josiah (9) and Elijah (8).
