By definition, networking is the practice of making contact and exchanging information with other people, groups or institutions. It has also been defined as the development and maintenance of mutually valuable relationships. 70-75% of jobs are found through networking and not through an ad in the paper. Employers fill jobs by promoting from within the company and by hiring friends and relative of the people who work for them.
