EXCEL Admission Requirements
Admission decisions are based on the following
requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree
-
Completion of a minimum of 60 semester hours from an
accredited college or postsecondary institution.

GPA of 2.0 (4.0 scale) or better on all prior academic work.

Minimum age of 25 with three years of work experience
recommended.
Associate of Science Degree
-
GPA of 2.0 (4.0 scale) or better on any prior academic work.
-
Minimum age of 23 with two years of work experience
recommended.
Note: Applicants not meeting the requirements for admission
may be considered by the EXCEL Program Admission Committee.
Application Process: To learn about the
EXCEL Program, you can request an
information packet be mailed to
your home, attend one of the
Information Sessions, or make an individual appointment with the EXCEL staff.
To apply, take the following steps:

Complete an
online application and mail the $20
application fee to: EXCEL, 2303 College Ave., Huntington, IN
46750 with your name and "Application Fee" on the memo line.

Send a
transcript request form to each postsecondary
institution previously attended and to the high school that awarded your diploma. Check
with the registrar from each institution for the appropriate transcript fee.

Complete the
FAFSA
to receive
financial aid benefits.

After transcripts have been received by Huntington
University,
schedule an appointment with the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Advisor, who will
estimate the number of hours you might earn from your past
professional training and life experiences..

After acceptance into the Program, select a preferred
starting date.
