Peter Samuelson, President of the Association, is a graduate of Yale Law School and a former management consultant with McKinsey & Company. He developed the idea for this program while serving on the board of directors of a private liberal arts college that was looking for ways to increase its enrollment.

Paul Carey is a former Executive Vice President at Sallie Mae. He is serving on the board of directors of the Association. Paul is an investor and philanthropist.

Carroll Stevens, raised the funds to launch the Yale Law School’s loan repayment assistance program. Carroll is on the board of the Loan Repayment Assistance Foundation, which we have formed to provide the benefits of the LRAP to inner city and other disadvantaged youth. Carroll is currently Senior Vice President with Cambridge Associates.

Stephen Yandle designed Yale Law School’s loan repayment assistance program while serving as associate dean. Stephen is Chairman of our Advisory Board, and is currently Vice President for Global Law School Programs for Lexis-Nexis.

USA TODAY featured our Loan Repayment Program in a national story on June 13. 2011 (p. 3). The story was also published online.

The Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette carried a front-page story on October 29, 2011.

Inside Higher Education published this article on November 7, 2011.
