Merillat Complex for Physical Education & Recreation (MPERC)

Exercise science, physical education, recreation and sports ministry majors enjoy the 80,0000 square foot Merillat Complex for Physical Education and Recreation (MCPER).

Features:

Fieldhouse: 3 basketball courts and surrounding 4-lane track.

Gymnasium: 2 wood floor courts

Dance/Aerobics Room: floating wood floor, 3 StairMaster climbers, a NordicTrack, and 2 Precor elliptical trainers.

Weight Room: 14 selectorized stations and Universal Gym machine.

Free-Weight Room: squat rack, incline bench, curl bench, 2 press benches, 10-80 pound dumbbells.

2 Racquetball Courts

Exercise Physiology Laboratory: equipment for VO2max, ECG, blood pressure, body composition, body temperature, body flexibility, ambient pressure determinations.

Science Hall

Huntington University opened a newly-constructed, 90,000 square-foot Science Hall for the Division of Natural and Mathematical Sciences in 2002. The new learning center features a quality learning environment with student-friendly spaces, teaching and research specialty equipment, well-designed laboratories and research spaces, and multimedia classrooms in rich, art-infused aesthetic surroundings.
