Individual Study

The Library provides approximately 75 individual study carrels throughout the building. Each study carrel is independently lighted and has outlets for your electronic devices. Normally study carrels are not reserved but if you have the need to occupy a particular carrel for a semester please see one of the Librarians for more information. |
Group Study
|
|
|
Four group study rooms are provided on the upper level of the library. Each room is equipped with a chalk board, TV and DVD player. The can accommodate four people. The rooms are on a first-come basis, no reservations needed or accepted.
Group tables that seat four to six are also scattered throughout the building.

After Hours Study
|
|
|
The After Hours Study Room is provided for individual or group study
after the library is closed. It is normally locked by Campus Security at
2:00 a.m. Students wishing to use the room after 2:00 a.m. should
contact Campus Security at 224-1412.

During regular hours the area is available as a snack room or group
study room. A soda machine and a snack machine are located in this area. |
Johnson Conference Room

The Harold M. Johnson Conference Room is named after the longtime Huntington University Trustee who served from 1953 to 1976. The conference room can be used for campus meetings or outside events. It is located to the left of Main Entrance as you enter the building. It seats approximately 50 people and is equipped with two screens, a write-on board, wireless and wired network connections, a podium with microphone, and a sink. Other equipment such as video projectors should be reserved at least 24 hours in advance from the library's Audiovisual Coordinator. The Conference Room must be reserved ahead of time with Conference Services. |
Library Seminar Room

The Library Seminar is located to the left of Main Entrance as you enter the building. It comfortably seats 8 people. It is equipped with a write-on board, wireless and wired network connections and a phone jack. Other equipment such as video projectors should be reserved at least 24 hours in advance from the library's Audiovisual Coordinator. The Seminar Room must be reserved ahead of time with Conference Services. |
