Huntington, Ind. — The Huntington University Concert Choir invites individuals to join the choir as they team up with the Huntington University Orchestra for the 56th annual performance of Handel’s “Messiah.”
The performance will be 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntington.
For those interested, rehearsals will be held at the Merillat Center for the Arts on the Huntington University campus from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 25, Nov. 1, 8 and 22. A dress rehearsal will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
The choir will be performing the Watkins Shaw (Novello) score. Scores will be available for purchase at the first practice for $8.50. Dress for the performance will be a black dress for the women and a dark suit with a white shirt and dark tie for the men.
