The Huntington men's soccer
team traveled to Goshen College where the Maple Leafs handed the Foresters a 3-1 conference loss.
HU found themselves down early after giving up a goal in the fourth minute of play but Eric Bjorndal tied things up five minutes into the second period with a blast from 30 yards out. After several close chances, Goshen's aggressive play finally wore down the Foresters as the Maple Leafs found the back of the net in the 61st minute and then against at the 81:27 mark to put the game out of reach.
Goshen outshot the Foresters 20-8. HU keepers Chris Fox and Drew Mattingly split time at goal recording three and two saves respectively.
Huntington (2-8-1, 0-2-1) hosts Anderson University today at 4:00 p.m.
