A Forester sweep of the doubles matches, where all three could have gone either way, led to HC's 8-1 rout of Franklin College. Both #1 (Tyler Moore and Daron Short) and #3 doubles (Jason Stump and Brandon Curtis) won 9-8 while Mitchell McDonald and Brian Lambright got the 8-5 win at #2. In singles, Moore dropped just two games at #1 winning in straight sets 6-1, 6-1. McDonald came from behind to win 5-7, 6-1, (10-6) at #2. At #3, Stump went 6-3, 6-0 for his second win of the day. Curtis held off Ryan Meyer 6-4, 6-3 at #5, and Lambright won in a third set tie break, 2-6, 6-4, 7-6, to complete HC's scoring. "It was a nice win in front of our Homecoming fans," said Coach Turner. "Hopefully this will give us some momentum heading into the conference tournament." The men complete their regular season with a 3-8 record.
