HU drops hard fought battle to Bethel

Mishawaka, Ind. - The Forester women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 hard fought battle at Bethel College on Tuesday afternoon. With this loss, HU falls to 2-4 on the season and 1-3 in conference play.

HU didn't make it easy for the Pilots. The Foresters won first sets in three of the six singles matches but Kristen Lahman was the lone Forester to hold on for the win. Jessica Abel and Katie Johnson enjoyed their second consecutive win at the No. 3 spot in doubles play, defeating Bethany Blodgett and Taylor Atkins 8-6.

Huntington heads to the ITA Regionals later this week to compete in the three-day tournament.
