FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Huntington men’s tennis team made quick work of a young but talented Saint Francis squad with an impressive 8-1 win over the Cougars in a conference matchup Wednesday afternoon at Swinney Park.

HU’s only loss came at No. 3 doubles where the USF duo of Tate Dishman and Payton Selking played a near-flawless match to claim an 8-5 win over Zakk Sparks and Joe Brenneman.

The Foresters dominated the other two spots in doubles action, giving up only two games between the two matches. Singles play was much the same as Coach Eckert’s squad surrendered a mere seven games at the top four spots to cruise to the win.

Huntington (1-0, 1-0) will be tested later today when they face #15 University of Northwestern Ohio at 4:00 p.m. at Klopfenstein Courts.
