HU volleyball earns first win

GOSHEN, Ind. - The Forester volleyball team’s consistent improvement and determination finally paid off Friday night when they earned a five-set win, 27-25, 20-25, 25-22, 22-25, 15-13, at Goshen College to log their first victory of the season.

Jensen Carnahan did a little bit of everything for Huntington to finish with 41 assists, 19 digs, four aces and two solo blocks. Her favorite target was Brittany Rooze who finished with a team-high 13 kills. Abbey Keister and Heather Medich were also active at the net, recording with 12 and 11 kills respectively.

With this win, HU improves to 1-8 overall, 1-3 in conference play. 
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 16 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 46 NAIA All-America honors and 202 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
