Harris-Shoemaker taking his talent across town


HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Forester men’s bowling program has added another local product to its 2013-14 roster with the signing of Huntington North standout Adam Harris-Shoemaker.

The leftie has spent the last three years as a member of the Vikings’ varsity squad, having won the conference title each year. He boasts a high average of 206.

Harris-Shoemaker has experienced his share of success in Viking red and black. He helped guide HNHS to a 2011 Indiana High School Bowling State Championship and was the high individual qualifier at the Boone Grove Invitational that same year. As a junior, he helped his team clinch a second consecutive Sectional title in addition to advancing to Semi State as an individual.

Harris-Shoemaker plans to major in nursing this fall.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 16 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 46 NAIA All-America honors and 202 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
