The women’s tennis team ran into a buzz-saw Tuesday in the form of Indiana Wesleyan University and dropped a 9-0 decision to the Wildcats. The young and inexperienced Foresters were out-classed at every position with no one winning more than two games in a set. IWU also brought an end to the winning streaks of Stephanie Strong and Kendra Ganz. The freshmen duo struggled for the first time in doubles losing 8-2, and Strong fell 6-2, 6-2 to Sarah Bauss, the MCC’s top player, at #1 singles. "Indiana Wesleyan is a very talented team, but now they know what they will be up against in the conference tournament, said Coach Turner. The loss drops the women to 2-5 on the season and 2-4 in conference play.
