IWU cruises past HU in straight sets

MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan University continues to dominate Crossroads League play and Wednesday night it was at the expense of the Forester volleyball team as the Wildcats cruised to a 3-0 win, 25-13, 25-12, 25-11, at Luckey Arena.

HU struggled offensively to piece together many runs and IWU took full advantage to run away with the score in each set. Heather Medich finished with nine kills while the rest of her teammates combined for only ten more throughout the night.

Jensen Carnahan handed out 17 assists and Cody Morey tallied 11 digs.

With this loss, Huntington drops to 3-14 in league play, 7-21 overall. The Foresters last conference match is Tuesday at Bethel at 7:00 p.m.
