Taylor takes it to HU 7-2

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Trojans of Taylor University claimed a 7-2 conference road win over the Forester women’s tennis team Tuesday afternoon. With this loss, Huntington drops to 1-2 overall, 1-1 in league play.

Ciara Smith and Stacie Cressman teamed up to snag HU’s only victory in doubles by beating Kelsey Chow and Tara Gnagy at the No. 3 spot.

Huntington only other win of the day came at No. 1 singles where Cassie Kasicki took care of Kim Henke 6-3, 6-3.

HU will take on two conference rivals later this week with a road trip to Bethel on Friday and then will return to Klopfenstein Courts to face Goshen on Saturday .
