Huntington University men’s soccer coach Russ Lawson has announced that Grace Christian senior, Taylor Wilkinson, has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Huntington University this fall. As a midfielder Wilkinson has left his mark on the Patriots’ program that captured three Cornerstone Conference Championships and two District Championships. During his four years, he amassed 20 goals and 24 assists. He topped off his high school career by being named to the 2009 All Conference, All District and Honorable Mention All State teams.
Coach Lawson notes “I am looking forward to working with Taylor because he is the type of player that gives you his all. He brings an intensity and work ethic that will serve him well as he looks to develop his game.”
Wilkinson plans to study pre-law at HU. He is the son of William and Lucinda from Watervliet, Michigan.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past twelve years, Huntington has produced 70 NAIA All-America honors and 186 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
