Benge named Forester Athlete of Week

Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 26-Dec. 2. Men’s basketball junior Kyle Benge earned the honor for his outstanding effort during the week’s competitions.

Kyle Benge, an elementary/special education major from Plymouth, Ind. (Plymouth High School), averaged 17.5 points and two assists in Huntington’s two games during the week. He scored 18 points and had two assists against Olivet Nazarene University, and he had 17 points and two dishes in the Foresters’ 80-64 win over Marian College. Huntington (7-3) returns to action on Dec. 4 when the team host the University of St. Francis at 7 p.m.
