Donaldson named Forester Athlete of Week

Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 5-11. Women’s basketball sophomore Jenna Donaldson earned the honor for her outstanding efforts during the week’s competitions.

Jenna Donaldson, an entrepreneurial/small business management major from Auburn, Ind. (DeKalb High School), had an outstanding week to help Huntington get off to a 3-0 start to the season. Donaldson averaged 20.3 points and 6.3 rebounds and was the team’s leading scorer in each of the three games. She netted 19 points and grabbed six rebounds against Indiana Tech. She also was named the Huntington University Tournament MVP after scoring 24 points against Northwestern Ohio and 18 in the win over Wilberforce. The Foresters will next host Aquinas College in the second game of a doubleheader with the Forester men on Nov. 13 at 8 p.m.
