Kyle named Forester Athlete of Week

Huntington, Ind.—The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 19-25. Men’s basketball sophomore Kevin Kyle earned the honor for his outstanding effort during the week’s competitions.

Kevin Kyle, a recreation management major from Crawfordsville, Ind. (North Montgomery High School), averaged a double-double with 17.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game in Huntington’s two wins during the week. He scored 15 points and grabbed 11 boards in the Foresters’ 96-73 victory over St. Xavier University and he had 20 points and 10 rebounds in their 98-89 win over Indiana University South Bend. Huntington (6-2) returns to action on Nov. 27 when they travel to Olivet Nazarene University for a 7:30 p.m. (CST) start.
