Forester baseball team to host 'Kid's Night Out'

Huntington, Ind.—Huntington University’s baseball team will host a Kid’s Night Out from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at the Merillat Complex for Physical Education and Recreation.

Children ages 6 to 14 are invited. Admission is $5 per child.

Children will enjoy playing wallyball, basketball, whiffleball, and volleyball, and other games. Participants should wear athletic shoes and bring money for snacks. A concession stand will be available with pizza for $1 per slice and pop and candy for 50 cents each.

Future Kid's Night Out programs will be held Dec.5, Dec. 19, Jan. 9, Jan. 23, and Feb 6.

Funds raised will go toward the baseball team’s spring 2010 trip to Florida where the team will play in a jamboree against other schools from the Midwest. The Foresters will play eight games during the eight-day trip.
