Ogle earns Athlete of the Week honors

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week of November 5-11, 2012. Women’s cross country junior Cendall Ogle earned the honor for her outstanding efforts over the weekend.

Ogle, a native of Warsaw, Indiana (Warsaw H.S.), claimed the Crossroads League individual championship by placing first overall at the league meet on Saturday at Indiana Wesleyan University. The junior crossed the line in a personal best 18:35, ten seconds faster than second place.

Ogle’s first-place finish paced the Foresters to the Crossroads League title and an automatic bid to the 2012 NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Championships to be held November 17 in Vancouver, Washington. 
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 16 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 46 NAIA All-America honors and 202 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations.
