Two members of the HU men's
cross country team ran in the 2010 NAIA Cross Country National Championships at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in Vancouver, Washington, over the weekend. Unfortunately the muddy course was not kind to either runner as they both took a spill during their respective race, greatly affecting the outcome.
It was the second appearance for junior Joseph Herber from Fremont, Indiana (Fremont High School), at the national scene. Competing in a field of 326 runners, Herber crossed the line at 27:30 to finish 198th overall.
In her opening debut at the national tournament, Cendall Ogle from Warsaw, Indiana (Warsaw High School), finished 239th out of 331 runners with a time of 20:31.
