Foresters second at Bethel Invitational

 For the third straight year, the Forester golf team finished second at Bethel College's Battle at Blackthorn. After shooting an impressive 282 on day one, HU held on to finish second with a total score of 580.

Cory Powell led the way for HU shooting a 138 (66, 72) for the tournament. Jordan Dawes shot 71 and 74 for 145. Matt Wilson finished with a 148 (72, 76). Josh Teulker tallied 149 (73, 76) and Seth Robertson had a 152 (74, 78). HU's Mickey Belt played individually and finished with 152 (77, 75).

Marian took top honors with a 577 to win the event. In a three-way tie for third with a score of 585 was Holy Cross, Madonna and Wheaton followed by Saint Francis (601), Bethel (605), Calumet (606), Olivet Nazarene (607), Grace (613), Robert Morris (618), Taylor (625), Judson (637) and Purdue Calumet (660).
