Huntington, Ind.—Huntington College athletic teams will host a series of “Kids’ Night Out” programs throughout the winter and spring months. Area children between the ages of 6 and 13 are invited to participate.
Huntington College student athletes will supervise a variety of activities including basketball, volleyball, swimming, racquetball, kickball and other games. A concession stand will be available for kids who wish to purchase refreshments.
The schedule is as follows:
· Saturday, Oct. 21, hosted by the Softball team
· Saturday, Nov. 18, hosted by the Baseball team
· Saturday, Dec. 2, hosted by the Baseball team
· Saturday, Dec. 16, hosted by the Baseball team
· Saturday, Jan. 13, hosted by the Baseball team
· Saturday, Feb. 10, hosted by the Baseball team
· Saturday, Feb. 24, hosted by the Baseball team
· Saturday, March 10, hosted by the Women’s Soccer team
· Saturday, April 21, hosted by the Volleyball team
Each program will be held in the Merillat Complex for Physical Education and Recreation from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The cost is $6 for one child and $5 for each additional sibling. Huntington College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The Huntington College Foresters compete in 14 sports for men and women.
