HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Two Huntington University media guides were recognized as top ten in the nation in the annual publications contests conducted by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics-Sports Information Directors Association (NAIA-SIDA).
The organization, comprised of sports information directors at NAIA schools, announced the publication winners at the Ike Pearson Awards Luncheon on June 22 in St. Louis, MO.
The men’s basketball media guide finished sixth overall among all NAIA schools. Also receiving recognition in the NAIA-SIDA contest was the women's basketball media guide, which finished tenth overall. This marks the tenth time in 11 years that Huntington University has received national recognition in the NAIA-SIDA Publications Contest.
The media guides were designed by Nate Vandlen of Studio Nate and written and edited by sports information director Joanne Green.
