Huntington University to host tailgating event at IWU

Huntington, Ind.—Huntington University will host a tailgate event prior to the Forester men’s basketball game versus Indiana Wesleyan University on Jan. 3.

Tailgating will begin at 1:45 p.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. in room No. 242 of the Recreation and Wellness Center at IWU in Marion, Ind. Tip-off for the game is at 3 p.m. Forester fans may attend the tailgating event at no charge, and Huntington University will provide snacks. Coach Ty Platt will welcome the group before the Foresters take the court for the resumption of Mid-Central Conference play, where HU and IWU are both 1-1. IWU is ranked 10th in the most recent NAIA Division II men’s basketball poll.
