Huntington, Ind.—Huntington University coach Steve Platt will preview the upcoming Forester men’s basketball season at the November Foundation Breakfast on Wednesday, November 9, 2005.
The breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m., in the Habecker Dining Commons and conclude by 9 a.m. The public is cordially invited to attend. The breakfast if free to first time visitors and costs $6 for returning guests.
At the start of the 1994 season, Platt became the 23rd head coach in the University’s 80-year men’s basketball history. In the eleven years since, he has guided the Foresters to three MCC Tournament Championships, an NAIA Final Four appearance, three MCC regular season titles, and five national tournament berths. His players have earned 18 All-American honors, 34 All-Conference honors, and on five occasions, a Forester has been named the MCC Player of the Year.
