Forester women finish 8th at Cardinal Baker Classic

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Forester women’s bowling team finished 8th in the inaugural Ball State University Cardinal Baker Classic at Munsee Lanes in Muncie, Ind., on December 1-2. HU averaged 160.4 over the two days and 40 Baker games on the Tokyo oil pattern. Wright State won the tournament averaging 183 and the University of Northwestern Ohio finished second with a 173 average.

On the men’s side, the Foresters finished 9th in the Classic averaging 150.4 over 40 Baker games. The University of Northwestern Ohio claimed the title with a 196.5 average and Wright State finished second averaging 191.7.

The Foresters have a break until the end of December when they travel to Allentown, Pennsylvania to compete in the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic on December 27-28 before participating in the Lehigh Valley Classic on December 29-30.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 16 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 46 NAIA All-America honors and 202 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
