HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Huntington University Men’s Soccer Coach Russ Lawson has announced the signing of Calgary, Alberta native Joshua Codd.
“The coaching staff is thrilled that Josh has decided to continue his playing career at Huntington,” says Coach Lawson. “His vision, touch and ability to read the game are excellent, which will enable him to make a smooth transition to the speed of the collegiate game.”
A versatile player who has experience playing anywhere on the backline and in the midfield, Codd is currently honing his skills playing for the National Sports Development Soccer Club (Celtics) while attending the National Sports Academy. Over the past four years, he has experienced much success leading his team against some of the best talent in western Canada.
Josh, son of Paul Codd and Gio Pena from Calgary, Alberta, plans to study philosophy.
