Jackson Community College’s Chris Hudson has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Huntington University this fall. As a freshman for the Jets last year, Chris helped anchor the back line while gaining valuable collegiate experience. During his high school career at Lenawee Christian, he captured two district championships and was named to the All District First Team his senior year.
Coach Lawson notes, “Chris will bring an intense will to compete. He is strong in the air and likes to get up in the attack. We have flexibility with Chris because of his additional experience in the midfield with his club team Adrian FC. I expect him to push our outside backs and flanks once he transitions to the demands of collegiate soccer at HU.”
Off the field Hudson will impact campus as a graphic design student. He is the son Dan and Rose Hudson from Blissfield, Michigan.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past twelve years, Huntington has produced 70 NAIA All-America honors and 186 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations. U.S. News & World Report ranks Huntington among the best colleges in the Midwest.
