HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Head Coach Russ Lawson and the Huntington University Men’s Soccer Program are excited to announce the first signee for the 2013 recruiting class. Isaac Wust from Huntington, Indiana (Huntington North H.S.) has signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his career in Green and White next fall.
Wust is currently ranked 15th in the state in scoring with 18 goals and four assists.
“First off Isaac is a character guy and excellent student, one that will add to the quality that is already in place,” said Coach Lawson. “He is a versatile player with a great deal of composure and creativeness on the ball. He has the ability to impact games with his technical ability and work rate in all areas of the park.
“This is an exciting day for HU soccer and confirms that this program continues to move in the right direction.”
On the field in recent years Isaac has capped for the Fort Wayne Citadel and Fort Wayne Fever Academy playing in the Midwest Regional League and the National Premier League. This past summer his club career culminated with an Indiana State Cup Championship.
