HU notches fifth MCC win against Knights

This time it was the Knights of Marian University who fell at the hands of the HU men's tennis team 6-3.

The featured match of the day came at #3 singles where HU's Jose Hungria dropped the first set 5-7 to Marian's Andrew Voss and then found himself down 0-3 in the second but scrapped and clawed out a 6-4 win to force the extra set. He once again spotted Voss 0-3 in the third before regrouping to finish him off 7-5 and claim the come-from-behind victory.

"I'm pleased with our early success this season, being 5-0 has given the guys a lot of confidence in the team and themselves, but five wins is still only five wins," said Coach Ferguson. "We still have three conference matches and the conference tournament ahead of us."

The Foresters (5-0) host Bethel College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
