Caldwell inks with Huntington

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Huntington University women’s track head coach Tom King has announced that Monroe Central High School standout Darion Caldwell has signed a letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic careers at HU this fall.

Caldwell excelled as a sprinter and jumper for the Golden Bears and will focus primarily on the 200 meters, long jump and the 4x100 relay as a Forester.

“We are excited to have Darion as a member of our team and expect that she will be a major contributor,” said Coach King. “We look forward to working with her and watching her as her hard work will lead to continued improvement. It will be fun to have her with us.”

The Ridgeville, Indiana native plans to major in Exercise Science. 
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 53 NAIA All-America honors and 187 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
