Huntington, Ind. - Two Foresters brought home first place finishes at the 7th Annual Taylor University Indoor Invitational on Saturday.
On the women’s side, Cendall Ogle was the top finisher in the 1,000 meters with a winning time of 3:11.82. Teammate Krystal McHenry wasn’t far behind as she crossed the line second in 3:42.42. The 4x200 relay team made up of Josann Schoeff, Rachel Bayon, Emilie Jamison and Mariah Town finished third with a time of 1:53.01.
For the men, Joseph Herber was the lone Forester to capture a first place finish. He won the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:43.62. The only other top three finisher was Todd Fielder who placed third in the triple jump with a leap 13.28 meters.
The team is back in action on February 19 when they travel to DePauw University for a 11:00 a.m. start.
