Naperville, Ill. - Competing in the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, on Friday, Cendall Ogle shaved over 20 seconds off her time in the 3,000 meter steeplechase to not only set a new school record, but also qualify for the 2011 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships with her time of 11:33.70.
Ogle, a freshman from Warsaw, Indiana (Warsaw High School), will be one of approximately 30 female athletes competing in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at this year’s National Championships to be held May 26-28 at Indiana Wesleyan University's Outdoor Sports Complex. Ogle is no stranger to the national stage having also earned a trip to the 2010 NAIA Cross Country National Championships this past fall.
