HU woes continue in MCC play

 The Forester volleyball team hit the road over the weekend to play back-to-back nights against Marian University and Indiana Wesleyan University and suffered two more losses to MCC foes.

Against the Knights on Friday night, the Foresters dropped three straight 25-13, 25-19, 25-19. Kaylee Searles led a balanced attack with nine kills. Joining her at the net were Courtney Berger, Melissa Grossman and Rebekah Brown with six kills each. Emilie Jamison finished with 22 assists.

In Saturday's match-up against the IWU Wildcats, HU struggled with consistency, dropping three consecutive matches, 25-15, 25-21, 25-11. Grossman led the Foresters with six kills while Searles finished with four kills and seven digs.

The Foresters drop to 1-10. They are on the road again on Wednesday to play Spring Arbor at 7:00 p.m.
