Huntington can't get past Grace and USF

Despite playing in the friendly confines of home, the Forester volleyball team dropped MCC games over the weekend to Grace College and Saint Francis.

Playing Grace College for the second time in a two-week span, the Foresters seemed poised for revenge as they beat the Lancers 25-22 in game one but ran out of steam and dropped the next three 25-17, 25-14, 25-15. Courtney Berger finished with 11 kills and 11 digs to lead the Foresters. Kaylee Searles chipped in eight kills while Emilie Jamison added 29 assists and 13 digs.

On Saturday afternoon the Foresters hosted Saint Francis and lost in four games, 11-25, 25-21, 14-25, 18-25. Finishing with ten kills and three blocks, Rebekah Brown led the Foresters at the net. Emilie Jamison dished out 22 assists.

Huntington is 2-23, 0-12 in conference. They host Marian on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
