Lancers dispose of HU in three

WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The Forester volleyball team (0-7, 0-2) remains on the prowl for their first win as Grace College swept HU in straight sets Friday night, 25-13, 25-15, 25-19.

The Lancers, having received votes in the latest NAIA national poll, overpowered its visitors at the net with a 38-18 advantage in kills.

Heather Medich and Katie Bowers accounted for 12 of the Foresters’ 18 kills by tallying six apiece. Bowers also finished with nine digs. Jensen Carnahan and Codie Morey collected seven assists each in the losing effort.

It doesn’t get any easier for HU as they face 7th-ranked Indiana Wesleyan University on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
