Mount Vernon hands Foresters 3-0 loss

Huntington, Ind. - Still looking for their first MCC win, the Forester volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to the Cougars of Mount Vernon Nazarene University on Saturday afternoon, 25-21, 25-17, 25-17.

Huntington rallied to stay within striking distance all three sets but came up short each time. Brittany Rooze paced the Foresters' attack with 11 kills. She also tallied three blocks and a game-high 12 digs. Heather Medich finished with seven kills and eight digs and Jensen Carnahan handed out 28 assists.

The Foresters (3-11, 0-8) square off against Spring Arbor on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
