HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Huntington University volleyball head coach Amy Settle has announced the addition of Harold L. Richards High School standout Codie Morey to her 2012 roster.
Morey, a 5-foot-8 setter from Blue Island, Ill., led the Bulldogs to a 22-6 during her final campaign in black and gold. In addition to dishing out 152 assists, the All-Conference pick also finished with 121 kills and 35 blocks at the net while logging 35 aces and 90 digs.
“HU Volleyball is thrilled to welcome Codie Morey to our program,” Settle said. “Playing volleyball comes as naturally as breathing to Codie. She is a gifted player who will heighten our overall performance and be a threat to our opponents by both setting the ball to our attackers but also attacking the ball herself.”
Morey plans to major in nursing while at Huntington. She is the daughter of Glenn and Ginine Morey.
