Huntington University junior Sarah Miller reached a significant milestone in her career as a Forester basketball
player. Heading into the game against Berea College on December 29, Miller needed four points to become the 19th player to join Huntington’s 1000-point club. She reached this mark when she knocked down a long three within the first five minutes of the game.
To date, she has accumulated 1,017 points in 77 games. For her career, Miller has averaged 13.2 points. Through 14 games this season, the Delta High School native is averaging 15.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 53 NAIA All-America honors and 173 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
