The Mid-Central Conference (MCC) announced its post-season awards for the 2010-11 women's soccer
season and Ryan Burgher was named Coach of the Year.
In just three seasons Burgher has led the Foresters to the best finish in the program's history. The 2010 Foresters were the first women’s soccer team to have a winning record and the second women’s team to win a first round game in the MCC tournament. They were also the second HU women’s team to host an MCC tournament game, the last being eight years ago.
“It is an honor and blessing to receive this award,” said Coach Burgher. “I would have been happy to even receive a vote with the caliber of coaches that we have in the MCC.”
