The Foresters made it three wins in a row and evened their record at 3-3 on the season with a convincing 4-1 win over Manchester College.
Stephanie Spitnale got things rolling for HU when she took a pass from Bethany McGraw and put it in the back of the net in the 23rd minute of play. McGraw made it 2-0 with less than three minutes left in the first half to give the Foresters a little cushion heading into the break.
The Spartans cut their deficit in half with a goal at the 50:21 mark of the second half, but HU answered back three minutes later. Brittany Carlson dished out an assist to Brenda Bair who netted her first goal of the season. McGraw then put the game out of reach with her second score of the day off an assist from Liz DeHaan in the 65th minute.
Manchester generated 15 shots to just nine for the Foresters. HU keeper Emily Walker recorded eight saves in the match.
