HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Huntington University sisters Alyssa and Jessica Krause were among the 492 women’s soccer student-athletes named to the list of 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) earlier today.
The Krause sisters, both graduates of Black Forester Academy, hail from Kamdern, Germany. Alyssa is a senior elementary education major while Jessica is a junior majoring in psychology.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
