Shaw commits to Huntington

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Huntington University Women’s Soccer program has announced the signing of Bellmont High School senior Elizabeth Shaw. In addition to playing for the Squaws, Shaw has also played in Fort Wayne. In her spare time she is involved in 4H, junior leaders and youth group.

The nursing major had this to say about choosing HU, “I chose Huntington because it is in a rural setting and I’m excited about going on to the next level in soccer and meeting new people.”

“I’m happy to have Beth joining our program,” said Coach Burgher. “I’m excited to have her come in August and show her work ethic and dedication to competing for time on our team.”

Elizabeth is the daughter of Calvin and Tina Shaw of Decatur, Indiana. 
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 53 NAIA All-America honors and 187 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
