SPRING ARBOR, Mich. - It was a full day of tennis for the Forester women. They started the day with a 5-4 loss to Cedarville University in nonconference action at Klopfenstein Courts before heading up to Spring Arbor University where the Cougars claimed a 7-2 victory.

Against the Yellow Jackets, the duo of Cassie Kasicki and Alek Spasic outlasted Brooke Johnson and Joy Dice to enjoy HU’s only win in doubles play. Individually they both went on to notch wins in singles action as did Jessica Abel but it wouldn’t be enough as they Foresters came up one match short from earning the hotly-contested battle.

Rain pushed HU’s match with the Cougars to Saturday afternoon where the Foresters struggled from the get-go by dropping all three doubles matches. Kasicki and Spasic picked up where they left off in singles action by logging Huntington’s only victories at No. 1 and No. 2 singles respectively.

With these losses, HU (3-8, 1-8) wraps up the fall regular season portion of their schedule and heads into conference tournament play on Tuesday where they will face Indiana Wesleyan University at 4:00 p.m.
