HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Forester women’s tennis dropped an 8-1 decision in its spring season opener to Trine University Thursday afternoon at Klopfenstein Tennis Courts.
The highlight of the afternoon came at No. 4 singles where Katie Johnson, who is a tried and true doubles player, took a crack at playing solo and came up with an impressive 6-4, 6-2 win over Erin Kwaske to log the Foresters’ lone win.
HU is back in action on Saturday when they host Davenport University (Mich.) at 2:30 p.m.
